Rain, rain go away. That is the hope of Hart County Schools because tonight is graduation. Construction of the new high school means there is no place inside to move the ceremony, should it rain. Superintendent Ricky Line says the district does have a back-up plan, but his hope is:
Graduation is set for Friday May 19th at 7:00pm. If it rains, it will be rescheduled for Saturday May 20th at noon. If the rain persists, it will be held that night at 7:00pm. If the rain continues through Saturday the graduation will be held Sunday at 2:00pm.
When it comes to the new high school construction, Line says that by the first of June walls should be up and the classrooms will be more defined. Line says they are on target:
18 of the past 21 years graduation has been held outside on the football field.
