James Willie Lindsey, 73, of Bee Spring passed away September 23, 2024 at his home.
The Edmonson County native was a logger, roofer and a groundskeeper at Diamond Caverns Golf Course.
He was a son of the late Lewis Lindsey and Eura Mae Farris Lindsey.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Lindsey Neff; a great grandson, Rucker Lane Hampton; a brother, Eugene Lindsey; and a sister, Cuba Frames.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cove Hollow Cemetery. Visitation will take place 2-7 PM Tuesday and after 9:00 AM Wednesday.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda Moon Lindsey; four daughters, Valina Lindsey of Leitchfield, Becky Lindsey (Tim Alexander) of South and Carla Wood (Jonathan) and Laura Dillon (Shawn) both of Bowling Green; two sisters, Reva Lindsey of Leitchfield and Dorothy Clinton (George) of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Charlie Lindsey (Linda) of Bee Spring and George Lindsey (Susan) of Leitchfield; seven grandchildren, Jeffery Duvall, Tiffany Lasley (Chad), Timmy Hampton, Violet Wood, Lillian Wood, Willow Rose Wood and Grant Dillon; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
