Glasgow Scottie Senior Pitcher Dalton Shoemake celebrated Friday by signing a scholarship to play next year at the college level for Wabash Valley College in Mount Carmel Illinois. Sports Director Joe Myers asked Dalton how exciting this day is.:
Shoemake began his Scottie Baseball Career as an 8th grader, mounting up impressive stats as a pitcher and as a batter. Sports director Joe Myers asked head coach Sam Royse about Dalton’s development:
On the mound he has achieved a record of 27 and 14 with an earned run average of 1.81 and 366 strike outs. At the plate Dalton has a career batting average of 352, including 61 rbi’s on 5 home runs, 2 triples and 26 doubles. Dalton is the son of Paul and Jennifer Shoemake. Congratulations to Dalton Shoemake, headed to Wabash Valley College next year to join the Warriors.
