Two turn themselves in to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office.
36 year old Jason Fields, of Hardyville, turned himself in on Friday to the sheriff’s office. Meredith had been indicted by the Hart County Grand Jury for Possession Of A Controlled Substance, Possession Of A Handgun By A Convicted Felon and Drug Paraphernalia. Fields was lodged in the Hart County Jail in lieu of a $5000 cash bond.
27 year old Derek Meredith, of Magnolia, turned himself into the Sheriff’s Office on Friday. Meredith was indicted in January for Trafficking In A Controlled Substance and lodged in the Hart County Jail on a $20,000 cash bond. A Larue County Bench warrant was also served to Meredith for Failure to Report Violation Of Supervision on original charges of six counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Fleeing/Evading Police (Motor Vehicle), Possession Of A Controlled Substance, Drug Paraphernalia, DUI, Resisting Arrest, Failure To Maintain Required Insurance, No Motorcycle Operators License and Disregarding A Stop Sign. Meredith is being held on a $25,000 cash bond on the Larue County Circuit Court bench warrant.
