A man was arrested Tuesday in Lexington, Kentucky, and charged with the 2005 murders of Jamaal Covington and Latasia Kirk. Covington and Kirk were found murdered on April 21^st, 2005, at Willow Creek Apartments on Shive Lane in Bowling Green. Both had been shot.

A joint investigation between the Bowling Green Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms resulted in the arrest of Gilbert Uccardia Holts, Jr. in this double homicide.
