Velma Louise Meredith age 55 of Bowling Green died Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  The Warren County native was a homemaker and a member of the Barren River Pentecostal Church.   She was the daughter of the late Vernon Earl Miller and Frances Hooton Sanders Miller. 

She is survived by her husband Danny R. Meredith; two sons, Chris Miller and Danny R. Miller, Jr both of Bowling Green; two daughters Virginia Miller and Amy Meredith both of Bowling Green; five sisters Diane Johnson, Joann Penders, Virginia Brown and Esther Burch all of Bowling Green and Kathy Debbers of Brownsville; two brothers Vernon Miller of Russellville and Sonny Guthrie of Edmonton and five grandchildren Shawn Martin, Tashena Hudson, Daveyon Halcomb, Terryon Meredith and Elisha Garcia. 

Funeral services for Velma Louise Meredith will be held at 1pm Friday, August 5, 2011 at the New Salem General Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation from 4 to 9pm Wednesday, Thursday, 9am until 9pm and after 9am Friday at the Gravil Funeral Home.
