Mae Dunaway Anderson 100 of Glasgow died Tuesday August 9, 2011 at the Glasgow Health and Rehab Center in Glasgow, KY.  Born in Spencer, W. VA she was the daughter of the late William and Leoda Dearman Dunaway and wife of the late Joseph Anderson. 

While in West Virginia she was a retail sales clerk, attended the 5th Ave. Church of God in South Charleston and was a member of the O.E.S. Salinas Chapter.  As a Glasgow resident she attended the Glasgow Bible church.

She is survived by her son William J. “Bill” Anderson (Cynthia) of Glasgow; 2 granddaughters Renee Basil (Scott) of Glasgow and Sarah Jackson (Dean) of Alaska; 4 great grandchildren Damarias, Wally, Timmy and Cyrus; a niece Donna Sue Williams (Bud) of Atlanta, GA and a great nephew Buddy Williams of Atlanta.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters Elsie Runion and Edna Dunaway and a nephew Frank Runion.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, Aug. 11th at the Glasgow Bible Church.  Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until time for the service.  Burial will be at Cunningham Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Albans, WV on Saturday at 11:00 A.M.  

There will be visitation Friday at the Fidler & Frame Funeral Home in Belle, W. VA from 4:00pm until 9:00pm.  Arrangements are under the direction of the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

 

 

Today is Betty Driver Day!!  She had a birthday on Tuesday.
