LAW ENFORCEMENT IN BOWLING GREEN LOOKING FOR A MAN ARMED AND DANGEROUS PDF Print

Law enforcement in Bowling Green are searching for a suspect this morning. The Drug Task Force attempted to arrest 28 year old, Russell Wayne McCarley Jr after locating him in the 1400 block of Nutwood Avenue in Bowling Green last (Saturday) night. Detectives were following him until a marked police car made a traffic stop. At that time the suspect proceeded to the 1500 block of Holmes Avenue where he abandon his vehicle and fled on foot along with his passenger 19 year old, Deharris Snowden. After an extensive search Snowden was located hiding in the Holmes Avenue area by the Bowling Green Police Department’s K-9 unit just after midnight. McCarley is still at large and is known to be armed and dangerous. McCarley is a black male 5’6, 165lbs. He was driving a White GMC Envoy which he abandoned. He is wanted for 3 counts of trafficking in a controlled substance and violating his parole. Police found 27 baggies of marijuana processed for individual sale and over an ounce of cocaine in the vehicle, both have been seized. Should anyone know the whereabouts of McCarley you are urged to contact the Bowling Green Police Department, Drug Task Force, Kentucky State Police or the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. Snowden was charged with forgery second degree, theft by unlawful taking and fleeing second degree. He is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
