MAN KILLED THIS MORNING IN ONE-VEHICLE WRECK ON NORTH JACKSON HIGHWAY PDF Print

This morning (Monday) at 7:06 A.M., Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green responded to 12000 block of North Jackson Highway in Hart County regarding a one vehicle fatal collision.

 

According to Trooper Joel Huff, the vehicle was operated by Joshua W. Gibson,23, of Buffalo, Kentucky, was traveling south on US 31 E in his 2004 Pontiac GTO near Hammsonsville School Road when he lost control of his vehicle.  The vehicle went into a right spin as it exited the left side of the roadway and struck a mailbox.  The 2004 Pontiac then struck a large tree on the left side of the vehicle causing the operator to be partially ejected out of the right door.

 

Joshua Gibson was pronounced deceased at the scene by Hart County Coroner Jeff Roten.  Trooper Huff is leading the investigation and he was assisted on scene by the Linwood, Magnolia and Buffalo Fire Department and the Hart County EMS.
