Nannie Farris Sanders age 91 of Louisville, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011.  The Edmonson County native was a retired machine operator for Vermont America. 

She is survived by one son, Elmer Wesley Sanders, Jr and wife Shirley of Louisville; seven grandchildren, Ellen Decker of Leitchfield, Debra Whittle and husband Danny of Park City. Jerry Rich and wife Pam of Hillview, Kentucky, Sherry Spears and husband Ricky of Fairdale, Buddy Sanders of Lousiville, Joni Reichert and husband Jamie of Orlando, Florida and Corky Sanders and wife Michelle of Clarkson; two sisters Betty Shuman of Brownsville and Lucy Chastine of Georgia.  Twelve great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren also surviving. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Andy Farris and Nellie Whobrey Farris; her husband Elmer Sanders; a daughter Wilda Rich; one grandson Robert Rich adn a great-grandson Christopher Decker.

Funeral services for Nannie Farris Sanders will be held at 2pm Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel with burial in the Sweeden Cemetery.   Visitation from 10am to 2pm Saturday.
