James Edward “Jim” Gillihan, age 57 of Bowling Green, died Wednesday, December 22, 2011 at his residence.   The Davidson County Tennesse native was the owner of Jim’s Auto Upholstery and a Marine Veteran. 

He is survived by his wife Mary Backus Gillihan; two sons James “Gillie” Gillihan and Joshua Gillihan and wife Lora; a daughter Darble Simpson; seven grandchildren Summer, Shelby, Joshua and Little Gil Gillihan, Chase, Carson, Conner Simpson; great-grandchild, Maddle  Rae Doolin; four sisters Linda Sharpe, Beverly Cardwell, Melba Hardison, Debbie Likens and a brother Randy Gillihan and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation for James Edward “Jim” Gillihan will be Friday from 5 to 8pm at the Hardy and Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
