Alfred Lindsey age 93 of Big Reedy died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Hendersonville Medical Center.  The Edmonson County native was a farmer and owner of Dr. C. Huff Company. He was a member and elder of the Big Reedy Church of Christ. He was the son of the late William Pearlie Lindsey and Emma Bolton Lindsey.

He is survived by his wife Anita Huff Lindsey; two sons Royce Lindsey and wife Janice of Georgetown, Texas and Bruce Lindsey and wife Sandra of Big Reedy; a daughter Evelyn Raymer of Big Reedy; two brothers, Tuck Lindsey of North Carolina and Donald Lindsey of Roundhill; two sisters, Vida Tomes and Jeanetta Harvison both of Louisville; eight grandchildren, Brian, Brent and Matthew Lindsey, Chris Raymer, Julie Brown, Kim Whittinghill, Erin Blanton and Denise Stice.  Nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren also surviving.

Funeral services for Alfred Lindsey will be held at 11am Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Big Reedy Church of Christ with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation from 5 to 9pm tonight, 9am to 9pm Friday and after 9am Saturday at the Gravil Funeral Home.

 

Today is Betty Driver Day!!  She had a birthday on Tuesday.
