Another Barren County teenager was air-lifted following a single vehicle accident Thursday afternoon March 1 around 4:30 p.m. on Old Bowling Green Road about two miles west of Glasgow.
It appears the accident occurred when 17-year-old Mary Alice Williams of Glasgow, was eastbound on Old Bowling Green Road, in a 1998 Ford F150 pickup, when she lost control and traveled off the right side of the roadway, over corrected, traveling across the westbound lane before over correcting again traveling back in to the eastbound lane and off the roadway overturning multiple times ejecting Williams from the truck.
Williams was air-lifted from the scene by Air Methods to the University of Louisville Hospital, where she is in stable condition.
Deputy Aaron Bennett investigated and was assisted by Deputy Chris Wyatt.
Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Services and members of the South Barren Volunteer Fire Department were first responders at the scene.
