Gertrude Edwards, 84, of Bowling Green and formerly of Canmer, passed away at 1:45 PM, Friday, March 9, 2012 at Rosewood Health Care Center in Bowling Green. She was a Hart County native, a member of Fairview Church of Christ and a retired waitress.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan Gill and Lovie Davidson Gill; her husband, Freeman Edwards; 2 sisters, Lottie Tapp and Eva Vance and a brother, Gerthe Gill.

She is survived by:

Her son: Donnie Edwards, Nashville

Granddaughters: Cindy Mace, Cave City and Shannon Blomeier, Bowling Green

Grandson: Tim Edwards, Bowling Green

Brother: Earl C. Gill and wife, Esther, Bowling Green

Sister: Bobbi Scott, Owensboro

FUNERAL SERVICES- Winn Funeral Home Chapel at 3PM, Tuesday, March 13, 2012 with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
