Frances Louise Sturgeon, 86, Cave City, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Hart County Health Care, Horse Cave.  The Barren County native was the daughter of the late Earl and Maymie Poynter Hatcher and the widow of Ova Sturgeon.  She was a homemaker and member of Servant Valley Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Bryant Sturgeon (Carolyn), Windel Sturgeon (Wanda), of Cave City and Gilbert Sturgeon (Terry) of Mammoth Cave; five brothers, Merrold Hatcher, Stanley Hatcher, Isaac Hatcher (Helen), Paul Hatcher (Derada), Dave Hatcher (Barbara), all of Cave City; a sister, Margie Wilson, Cave City; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Sturgeon

Funeral services with Roy Hogan officiating will be at 1 PM, Friday, April 27th at Servant Valley Baptist Church with burial in the Cave City Cemetery.  Visitation at the funeral home will be on Wednesday after 4 PM and at the church after 11 AM Thursday until time of service on Friday.

Visitation at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel will be on Wednesday after 4 PM and at the church after 11 AM Thursday until time of service on Friday.
