Tammy Phillips Johnson, 41, of Scottsville, Ky died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tn.  The Scottsville, Ky native was an employee of Carpenter-Dent Drug Store and member of Combs Lane United Baptist Church.  She was a daughter of Thomas Phillips, Jr and Martha Mildred Calvert Phillips, who survive.

She is survived by her husband: Bro. Curtis "Slick" Johnson, Scottsville, Ky; 1 son: Truman Johnson, Scottsville, Ky; 1 daughter: Curstyn Pedigo and husband, Stacy, Scottsville, Ky; Her parents: Jr. and Mildred Phillips, Scottsville, Ky;

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Gary Phillips and Larry Wayne Phillips.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Combs Lane United Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Logsdon officiating and burial in Combs Lane Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home.  The body will be taken to lie in state at the church after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday until funeral time.
