Thomas Andrew "Tommy" Wells, age 82 of Glasgow passed away Sunday April 29, 2012 at the Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a lifelong member of Bethel Methodist Church and treasured his church family. He and his wife, Doris, established Tommy Wells Construction Company in 1957 which remains a family business. His many interests included flying airplanes, golfing with friends, drag racing, organizing golf outings to Casa de campo for over 30 years and playing cards with his buddies. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Doris Norris Wells and his children Melanie Norman (Gary) of Glasgow, Vanessa Wells Gray (Franklin) of Lexington, Trina Wyatt (Ricky) and Thomas Andrew Wells Jr."Andy" (Stacey Shipley Wells) of Glasgow. 13 grandchildren Hayley & Lynsay Harris, Wes & Sydney Norman, Hannah, Jackson, Creed & Avery Gray of Lexington, Nathaniel & Andrew Wyatt of Glasgow, Becca Smith (Dan) ofBowling Green, Caroline & Thomas Andrew Wells III "TA" of Glasgow. He is also survived by Louise Miller of Crestwood, Martha Depp and Bonnie Poore (Jimmy) of Glasgow, Billie & June Wells of Glasgow and several nieces & nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents Hurshel & Ollie Wilkinson Wells and brothers B.G., Glatys, Richard & Jerry Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday May 2, 2012 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Tuesday May 1, 2012 at the funeral home. Expression of sympathy may take the form of a memorial contribution to the Bethel Methodist Church, 3702 Burkesville rd. Glasgow, KY 42141
