Georgia L. Lashley age 80 of Grassland died Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and a member of the Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Roy Garner and Martha Whobrey Garner and the wife of the late Royce Lashley.

She is survived by three sons, Charles Lashley and wife Sue of Roundhill, Carson Lashley of Jackson, Georgia and Tommy Lashley and wife Tammy of Mammoth Cave; two daughters Kathy Sprayberry and husband Gene of Jackson, Georgia and Gayle Strickland and husband Bob of Lexington; a sister Ina Key of Beaver Dam.  Six grandchildren, twelve grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren also surviving.

Funeral services for Georgia L. Lashley will be held at 11am Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Gravil Funeral Home with burial in the Holly Springs Cemetery.  Visitation from 6 to 9pm Sunday, 9am to 9pm Monday and after 9am Tuesday at the funeral home.
