The Glasgow Police Department received a complaint about a reckless driver on Saturday night just after 7 o’clock.  As Officer Fletcher met the described vehicle that was southbound at the intersection of West Leech  and North Race Streets, the driver of that vehicle, 75-year-old Floyd W. Poynter of Cave City, rear-ended a vehicle that was slowed or stopped in traffic. The other vehicle was driven by Jerry D. Cheatham, 54, of Glasgow. A juvenile passenger in the Cheatham vehicle was taken to TJ Samson Community Hospital for treatment. All other parties involved in the accident declined medical attention. Poynter was found to possess a Kentucky Driver’s License that was suspended per the Medical Review Board.
