Danny Bracken 64 of Glasgow, died Saturday, April 28, 2012 at his residence. Born in Grayson County he was the son of the late James Daniel and Lena Russell Bracken. Mr. Bracken was retired from Gulf-Western in Glasgow and was a veteran having served in the U S. Navy.

Survivors include 1 son Gene Bracken (Aimee) of Russellville, KY; 2 daughters Amanda Anderson of Bowling Green, KY and Beth Tolliver (Dean) of Ft Worth, TX; the mother of his children Karen Bracken of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Kristen Anderson, Juliette Anderson, Joshua Bracken, Abigail Bracken, and Nolan Tolliver; 2 sisters Eva Kaiser and Angela Bracken both of MO; 1 brother Steve Bracken of TN and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 brother Larry Bracken.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Grace Baptist Church, Lincoln Rd. in Glasgow. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM Thursday at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Simpson County. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 3, 2012 at the Grace Baptist Church. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
