James William "Rusty" Rush, 55, of Austin, KY died at 3:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at his residence.  The Indianapolis, IN native was a former carpenter and truck driver for TS Trucking.  He was a son of the late James Robert Rush and Billie Ruth Richardson.

He is survived by his wife:  Janie Rush, Austin, KY; 1 daughter:  Ashley Rush, Austin, KY; 1 step daughter:  Melissa Manley and husband, Mark. Scottsville, KY; 3 step sons:  Dewayne Taylor and wife, Shanna; Jason Taylor and Scottie Mesker, all of Scottsville, KY;  1 sister:  Diane Patrick, Scottsville, KY; 9 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Michael Rush and Dwight Whitney.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Dewayne Taylor officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.   Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.   Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
