Larry Samuel Meredith, age 57, of Brownsville died Wednesday at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Pontiac, Illinois native was a roofer, maintenance worker and security guard.

He is survived by his mother: Alene Higgs Meredith of Sweeden; his wife: Karen Fontana Meredith; three sons: Brad Meredith of Mississippi, Rob Meredith of Bon Ayr and Eric Meredith of Bowling Green; five brothers: Tommy Meredith, Bobby Meredith and John Meredith all of Sweeden, Terry Meredith of Rocky Hill and Paul Meredith of Lindseyville; three grandchildren: Heather Firkin, Corey Meredith and Lance Firkin; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Larry Samuel Meredith will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Gravil Funeral Home with burial in Union Light Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
