It has been an incredibly busy week for the Lady Scottie Tennis team.  As they prepare for the region tournament on Saturday, they have played three matches this week.  The first match on Monday night versus Caverna was shortened by lightning.  The three matches completed were as follows:

Singles
Palmer Lessenberry  vs. Jenny Harrell  6-1
Holly Ann Carter   vs. Joy Beth Heberly  6-1

Doubles
Megan Jones - Blair Correll vs. Logan Bush - Danielle Carver  6-4

On Wednesday night, the Lady Scotties traveled to South Warren to see how they matched up with the Lady Spartans.  The Lady Scotties lost a close match 2-3.

Chandra Taylor   vs. Christian Barrett  8-3
MacLean Lessenberry vs. Jordan Lindsey  8-2
Elizabeth Garrett   vs. Meagan Love  4-8

Doubles
Maitlin Nuckols - Mikayla Powell  vs. Krislyn Hudson - Kacey Cassady  6-8
Alexis Travis - Pooja Santapuram vs. Emily Tyler - Emily Baker    6-8

Exhibition
Sloan Bull  vs. Alexis Lindsey  8-8 T 7-4
Morgan Mills  vs. Allison Ackerman  8-0

On Thursday night, the Lady Scotties survived several rain delays to emerge victorious 5-0 over Barren County.

Elizabeth Garrett vs. Emily England  8-2

Maitlin Nuckols - Mikayla Powell vs. Simmons - Nunn  8-6

Rebekah Kayser vs. suspend due to injury 3-0
Megan Jones - Blair Correll vs.   8-0


The Lady Scotties have completed a very successful season and hope to continue their success on the court in the Region 4 tournament on Saturday at Keriakes Park, beginning at 9 AM.  Singles are led by Chandra Taylor and MacLean Lessenberry; doubles are led by Maitlin Nuckols and Mikayla Powell with  Alexis Travis and Pooja Santapuram completed the Lady Scotties entries.
