Charles Ray “Hot Shot” Fancher age 55 of Knob Lick, Kentucky died Thursday, May 3, 2012 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow after a lenghthy illness. He was a farmer and son of the late James and Lucille Poynter Fancher. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Devonia Botts Fancher. Two sons: Billy and Jamie (Tiffany) Fancher all of Knob Lick. Two brothers. Carlos (Wilma) Fancher of Horse Cave and Damon Fancher of Glasgow. Five sisters. Susan (Arnold) Cross of Knob Lick, Jennifer McKinney of Horse Cave, Rometta (J. Larry) Davenport of Glasgow, Janet Stovall of Glasgow and Jaynette (Charles) Owens of Horse Cave. Twelve grandchildren. Dakota, Matthew, Amber, Kaneca, Jacob, Chase, Paige, Makayla, Kaley, Rebecca, Kandis and Charley Fancher. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Chester, Edward, Vernon, Maxie and James Fancher, Louise Poynter and Avis Fancher. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Fancher Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday and after 9:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
