JIMMY DAVID "SNAKE ' NORRIS, AGE 64,  of  Tompkinsville, died Tuesday, May 08, 2012 at St.Thomas Hospital in Nashville.  He was a son of the late Stanley and Odell Ballard Norrris.  He was employed as a farmer and logger.

He is survived by one son, David (Kim) Norris of Tompkinsville and one daughter, Tina Norris of Tompkinsville;  four sisters, Mildred Huckelby, Linda (Carlie) Arterburn, Betty (Don) Muse and Phyllis Muse all of Tompkinsville:  four brothers, Larry (Janie )  Norris of  Orlinda, Tn., Travis Norris and Russell (Vermal) Norris both of Tompkinsville and Phillip Norris of Summer Shade. five granchildren also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death  by brothers, Alton, Darrell Wayne and Marvin Norris and sister Joyce Blankenship.

Funeral serviced will be Friday, May 11 at 3:00 P.M. at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Thursday, May 11 at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
