TWO MEN ARRESTED FOR THEFT OF VEHICLE AFTER BEING INVOLVED IN COLLISION PDF Print

This morning (Wednesday) just after 6am the Warren County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a motor vehicle collision at 5595 Morgantown Road and that the two males were running from the scene and were seen running between houses in the area.

Warren County Deputies located the two men and they were identified as 19 year old Christopher Oaks and 20 year old Tyler Oaks both of Morgantown.  They attempted to elude deputies on foot and they were not compliant with commands and were subsequently tased by the responding deputies.  The suspects had damaged a fence while eluding the deputies.  Through investigation it was discovered that the vehicle that had been involved in the collision was stolen from Morgantown.

Christopher Oaks and Tyler Oaks were both taken to the Medical Center in Bowling Green and upon their release were transported to the Warren County Regional Jail and both were charged with Receiving Stolen Property; Criminal Mischief, First Degree; Leaving the Scene of an Accident; Fleeing or Evading Police, Second Degree; Possession of a Controlled Substance, First Degree; Possession of a Controlled Substance, Third Degree and Public Intoxication.
