Otha L. Hogan, age 79 of Munfordville, died Friday in Bowling Green. He was born in Edmonson County to the late Johnny Hogan and the late Corda Lindsey Hogan. He was a retired maching operator for P. Lorillard Tobacco Co. in Louisville and was a member of the Union Light Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Jones Hogan of Munfordville; two daughters, Sherry Blanton and husband Terry of Smiths Grove, and Teresa Pryor of Louisville; one step daughter, Sheila Miles and husband Barry of Munfordville; three brothers, James Hogan and Elmer Hogan and wife Erma Dean of Brownsville, Roy Hogan of Roundhill, adn Virgil Hogan and Roma Hogan and wife Shirley of Louisville; four sisters, Mima Jean Lindsey and husband Stanley of Louisville, Nora Jane Frost and husband Bill of Indianapolis, IN, Oma White of Spencer, IN, and Pearl Cherry of Corydon, IN. Seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Otha L. Hogan will be held at 11am Monday at the Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel with burial in the Cove Hollow Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3pm--8pm Sunday and after 8am Monday at the funeral home.
