Mary Louise Thompson Whitaker, 84, Cave City, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow.

The Hart County native was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary Hawks Wright and the widow of Jess Whitaker.  She was a retired waitress for Jolly’s Restaurant, Cave City, and a member of the Cave City Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son Wayne Thompson (Cheryl), Smiths Grove; a sister, Gertie Goldsmith, Canmer; grandchildren, Josh Thompson (Amber) and Michael Thompson (Sherrell), both of Smiths Grove; a great-grandchild, Makaylee Thompson.

Funeral services with Stephen Cavness officiating will be at 2 PM, Monday, May 14th at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel with burial in the Cave City Cemetery.  Visitation at the funeral home will be Sunday after 4 PM.
