She was also preceeded in death by a sister, Joesphine Cartegena, two granddaughters, Krystal Rae Scott and Jodi Aleena Pace, and a great grandson, Russell Jones. She is survived by a sister, Carol Stiles, and two brothers, Everett (Nooney) Rickett and Johnny Rickett. She was a devoted mother to nine living children, four sons: Randy (Sharon), Rusty (Christy), Bruce Scott and five daughters: Rhonda (Kermit) King, Janie (John) Hurt, Beckie (TJ) Hestand, Gina Caldwell, and Jo (Rick) Durrett. She has twenty-six living grandchildren and eighteen living great grandchildren. She also has four step grandchildren, two great step grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She worked at Grandview Market for fourteen years and Red Kap for ten years. She was devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for over fifty years. She held various callings in the church over those years. Funeral services were conducted by Bishop Jeffrey Neelan. Serving as pallbeariers were her grandsons: Jared and Jason King, Brendan Scott, Chane Scott, Ryan, Josh and Joseph Hurt, Michael Dubree, Ben Pace, Jesse and Brock Bowman, Joshua Caldwell, and Dustin Dyer. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Anthony Carter, Bradley Emmert, Darlene Emmert, Laura Jane Bowe, Erin Page, Cat Funeral services for Anna Lou Rickett Scott will be at 2PM Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saint with burial in the Scott Pleasant Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2PM to 9PM and Saturday after 6AM at the Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

Anna Lou Rickett Scott was born on March 8th, 1935, in Hazard, Kentucky. She passed away at the age of 77 at Monroe County Medical Center on May 16th, 2012. She was the eldest child of Maulta Caudill and Everett Rickett, both of whom preceeded her in death.
