| GLASGOW WOMAN ARRESTED SUNDAY IN WAL-MART PARKING LOT |

Around 6am Sunday morning, Glasgow Police Officers responded to a call saying that a woman was passed out in a car in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Officers arrived to find 25-year-old Joella Kelly in the driver seat of her vehicle with the engine running and music turned up loud. When the officers asked Kelly to step out of her vehicle, she almost fell. Kelly failed several field sobriety tests. Officer Jarrod Steele asked her to empty her pockets, which resulted in the finding of a prescription container filled with Xanax that did not have her name on it. A small container was also found on the driver side door that contained half of a suspected marijuana blunt. Joella Kelly wAs arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs-1st offense, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance-3rd degree, first offense. She was lodged in the Barren County Jail.
