Mr. Joe Preston “Preacher” Fudge, age 89, of the Grider Community in Cumberland Co. Ky. passed away on Wednesday May 30, 2012 at his residence in Cumberland County, Ky.

Survivors include his wife, Gertha Fudge of Burkesville, Ky., his children, Margenia Keeton of Burkesville, Ky, Vicki Lawson of Lexington, Ky., and Robin (and Russell) Gray of Cynthiana, Ky, his sisters of Juanita Denham of Bowling Green, Ky., and Addina Graves of Glasgow, Ky. Six grandchildren and Three great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Joe Preston “Preacher” Fudge will be conducted on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Ky. Burial will follow in the Grider Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 4:00 P.M. Friday June 1, 2012 until service time on Saturday. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Grider United Methodist Church or the Grider Memorial Cemetery. Professional service provided by Norris-New Funeral Home.
