Hayward Gray, age 70 of Bowling Green died Wednesday at his residence. The Butler County Native was a truck driver, farmer, mill worker and a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church and Buckville Saddle Club.

He is survived by his wife: Margaret Ann Kieffer Gray; eight children: Anita Marie Nealy and husband Steve, Diane Lynn Brown, Linda Faye Russell and husband Eugene, Kimberly Sue Gray, Ernest Lee Gray and wife Connie, Cardellia Renee Murphy and husband Lloyd, Avanelle Martin and husband George, John “Mark” Gray; 2 sisters: Retha Mae Taylor Cherry and Iva Dean Phelps and husband Kenneth; 2 brothers: John Thomas and Jerry Allen Gray; 25 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Hayward Gray will be at 2PM Friday at the Hardy and Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12PM to 8PM Thursday.
