Fairis G. “Slim” Jones, 92, of Greenfield, IN passed away May 30, 2012 in Greenfield, IN.

He is survived by his daughter, Betty (Bob) Doddridge of Greenfield, his sister Mary Ruth (Wilburn) Garrett of Chesterfield, IN, his grandson Jason (Megan) Doddridge of Japan, his granddaughter, Jody (James) Lukowiak of Westfield, IN, his great granddaughters, Carlie Lukowiak and Lucy Doddridge; several nieces and nephews. Local Survivors include his sister-in-laws, Lou Edith Jones of Glasgow, Ky and Regina Jones of Burkesville, Ky.

Funeral services for Fairis G. “Slim” Jones will be conducted on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Ky. Burial will follow in the Burkesville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 9:30 a.m. Monday June 4, 2012 until service time. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donors choosing. Professional service provided by Norris-New Funeral Home.
