John Simon Whitman, 74 of Park City died Wednesday at the Medical Center at Bowling

Green. The Erie, PA native was a son of the late Harry Whitman and Ethel Mennecke Whitman. He was an

electrician, a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and an Army Veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Leva Anglemae Lindsey Whitman; a son, Rocky Whitman; two daughters, Pam

Halvorson and Kim Hulsey; nine grandchildren, Rodney Lang, Landon Lang, Melody Halvorson, Phillip Hulsey,

Cody Whitman, Camron Whitman, Charles Hulsey, Ceirra Whitman, Destiny Stevens and several great

grandchildren;three sisters, Irene Lawrence, Gladys Stage, Sally Brown and three brothers, Wilford Whitman, Donald Whitman, Jerry Whitman

Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Monday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
