A single-vehicle accident proved fatal for one juvenile and injured another.

Just after 9:30 Wednesday night, Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle collision on Carl Jordan Road. The vehicle had left the roadway, traveled through a fenced yard, and overturned.

The operator, a 17-year-old juvenile, was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency services personnel. The passenger, also a juvenile, was ejected from the vehicle. Both juveniles were transported to the Medical Center for treatment.

The driver was pronounced deceased from injuries sustained in the collision. Alcohol and speed are believed to be a factor, and the investigation continues.

Gott Volunteer Fire Department, Bowling Green Fire Department, and Medical Center EMS assisted the Warren County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
