| MAN ARRESTED IN STABBING DEATH |

The Bowling Green Police Department received a call of an assault in progress at 0245 this morning. The caller believed the victim, 21 year old Tyrese Huffman, had been stabbed and was lying in the roadway near the intersection of Stonehenge Avenue and Western Green Avenue. Bowling Green Police officers arrived on the scene at 0248 and located the victim. Officers began CPR and continued until emergency personnel arrived. Lifesaving measures were not successful. During the investigation, witnesses were located which led to a possible suspect and his whereabouts. The suspect was located in an apartment on Kenilwood Way, in Bowling Green, and surrendered to police after less than lethal measures were used to effect his arrest. Stephan Thomas, 24, of Bowling Green has been arrested in connection with the death of Mr. Huffman. At this time, it is believed Mr. Huffman died as the result of a stab wound to his neck. Mr. Thomas has been charged with murder and lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. The investigation continues.
