Wayne Reed Pennington age 57 of Center, Kentucky died Friday June 8, 2012 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.    He was the son of Carl Reed Pennington of Center and Mazelle Carter Pennington of Glasgow.  Wayne was a Sign Artist for Rayburn Sign Company.

Besides his parents he is survived by his wife Gayle Thompson Pennington of Center.  His brother Anthony (Sheila) Pennington of Center.   A  sister in law Linda Shuffett of Pierce, Kentucky.  Aunts and  uncles.   Jimmy Depp (Joyce) Pennington of Center.   Ray (Joyce) Pennington of Summer Shade and Buddy (Laverne) Carter of Edmonton, Alice (Fred) Smythe of Hardyville, Mary Thompson of Louisville, Ernie (Peggy) Greer of Campbellsville, Evelyn (Gary) Boult of Knifely and Shirley Cox of Campbellsville.   A great uncle James Pennington of Campbellsville.   A nephew Jeremy Shuffett and three nieces April Pennington, Ashley Pennington and Jennifer Lee.  Great nieces and nephews.  Allie Shuffett, Holden White, Hunter Nunnally, Kayden Lee and Shawn Lee.  He is also survived by several cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday at the Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Asbury-Center Cemetery.   Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM  Sunday and after 9:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
