PEDESTRIAN STRUCK ON PARK CITY-BON AYR ROAD; FLOWN TO LOUISVILLE FOR TREATMENT PDF Print E-mail

On Sunday at 5:50 pm State Police  responded to the 2100 block of KY 255 (Park City Bon Ayr Road) in Barren County in reference to a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle.
James Fox (15) of Bowling Green, KY was a passenger in a 2001 Dodge truck which had stopped in the roadway on KY 255 north bound. Mr. Fox exited this vehicle from the passengers side and walked around the back of the vehicle.
Mr. Fox entered the south bound lane of traffic into the path of a 1997 Chevrolet passenger car operated by Zachary Sadler (17) of Park City, KY. who was traveling south on KY 255.
Mr. Fox was air lifted from the scene by Air Methods to the University of Louisville Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this collision.
Trooper Randy Chambers was assisted at the scene by Troopers Graham Rutherford and Chris Newkirk, Barren-Metcalfe EMS, Park City Volunteer Fire Department and Air Methods.
