WRECK ON HIGHWAY 63 RESULTS IN DUI ARREST PDF Print E-mail

On Sunday at 3:15 pm Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green responded to the intersection of KY 63 (Tompkinsville Road) and Siloam Road in Barren County in reference to a two vehicle collision.
A 1971 Chevy truck operated by Tommy Paull (50) of Summer Shade, KY was traveling north on KY 63 behind another vehicle, a 1963 Ford passenger car operated by James Curry (35) of Columbia, KY.
Mr. Curry braked to avoid another vehicle which was turning out of Siloam Road. Mr. Paull's vehicle then struck Mr. Curry's vehicle in the rear.
Mr. Paull refused treatment at the scene and Mr. Curry was transported to TJ Sampson by Barren-Metcalfe EMS.
Mr. Paull was arrested for DUI 2nd offense and lodged in the Barren County Jail.
Trooper Lonnie Hodges was assisted at the scene by the Temple Hill Volunteer Fire Department and Barren-Metcalfe EMS
