A juvenile was treated for possible chest injuries after a wreck at the intersection of North L Rogers Wells Blvd. and Happy Valley Road Monday.

Just before 2:30 Monday afternoon, a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Amy Faircloth, of Glasgow, collided with a second vehicle, being driven by 30-year-old Raymond Patterson of Cave City. Faircloth stated that she was stopped behind Patterson’s vehicle at the intersection of North L Rogers Wells Blvd and Happy Valley Road, talking to her daughter behind her, when she thought she saw Patterson’s vehicle start forward in the intersection and began to accelerate forward.

Faircloth’s vehicle then struck Patterson’s in the rear as he sat stopped at the intersection. Both vehicles sustained very minor injuries and were driven from the scene. However, a juvenile passenger in Amy Faircloth’s vehicle was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for treatment of possible chest injuries sustained from the seat belt of the vehicle.
