James V. Pennington age 92 of Campbellsville died Saturday June 9, 2012 at the West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange GA. Born in Metcalfe County he was the son of the late B.F. and Annie B, Pennington. He grew up in Center, KY and later moved to Southern Indiana were he worked at B.F Goodrich chemical plant for over 40 years, he was a Veteran of WWII and farmed raising Angus Cattle. He moved to Campbellsville in 2001 and was a member of Broadway Church of Christ in Campbellsville. He is survived by one daughter Karen (Edward) McGee, two sons Randall (Judy) Pennington, Stephen (Paula) Pennington, 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Pennington, one son Michael Pennington nine brothers and sisters. James spent the last three years living in Georgia with his daughter Traveling, antiquing, and looking for that perfect piece of Chocolate pie. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM cst. Wednesday at the Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Asbury-Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM cst. at the funeral home.
