U.S. BANK INDUCTS THE 2012 CLASS INTO THE HALL OF FAME PDF Print E-mail

The 46th annual US Bank Hall of Fame Celebration Banquet for area students was held last night at the Cave City Convention Center. Several area scholars were honored at the event.

The 2012 Hall of Fame inductees included valedictorians from area high schools: from Barren County, Maria Metzger; from Glasgow Autumn Smith; from Caverna, Melissa Hastings; and from Glasgow Christian Academy, Caleb Shaw.

Salutatorians were also inducted into the Hall of Fame last night. From Barren County, Jonathan Adams; from Glasgow, McKayla Blevins; Caverna, Mercedes Whiles; and GCA, Travis Whitlow.

In the area of art, Elizabeth Hoffman from BCHS, Blair Dennison from GHS, and Breanna Goodnight from Caverna were all inducted.

Outstanding athletes were also honored last night. From Barren County, Sydney Winniger and Luke Matthews; from Glasgow Haley Perkins and Parker Cash; and from Caverna Melissa Hastings and Dearrick Lindsey.

Outstanding Academic Team students were honored. From Barren County, Alana Alexander and from Glasgow, Dakota Smith.

Band students honored last night included Ashton Sturgeon from Barren County High; Justin Meredith from Glasgow; and Calvin Scott Cunningham from Caverna.

James Sickles from Glasgow High School was honored for chorus. The Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America honored were Allison Key from Barren County and Hener Noel Echeverria Nolasco from Glasgow.

Two Barren County students were honored last night as well: Dalton Mohon for the Future Farmers of America, and Kali Elizabeth Hiser for 4-H.

Congratulations to all of the 2012 Hall of Fame inductees.
