Mabel L. Burd age 91 of Horse Cave passed away at 9:38 a.m. Wednesday June 13, 2012 at Caverna Memorial Hospital. She was a Hart County native, a housewife and a long time member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church at Uno.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Ellis & Eunice Irvin Ellis, her husband, Macy Burd, 2 sons, Tommy and Gill Burd, grandson, Richie Burd, 2 great-grandsons, Cody Wayne & Collin Thomas Burd and by one sister, Lela Mae Vance.

She is survived by a grandson, Dwight Burd & his wife Tammy of Glasgow, 6 great-grandchildren, Catherine, Cyndi,Jack & Nick Burd, and Tyler & Paige Burd , a daughter-in-law, Donna Gore Burd of Oldsmar, Fl. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 16, 2012 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday and after 8 a.m. until funeral time on Saturday.
