Emergency responders were called to action Wednesday evening, June 13, around 6:30 p.m. after a call to 911 dispatch reported a man who had been swimming with friends in Barren River Lake near Siddens Bridge had disappeared under the water. A diving team found the body identified as 20-year-old Terraz Brown Lester of Glasgow around 9 p.m. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday in Louisville.

The investigation continues by the Barren County Sheriff’s Office and Barren County Coroner’s Office.

Others that responded to the scene include Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, Barren County Dive Team, Haywood, South Barren and Austin Tracy Volunteer Fire Departments, Glasgow-Barren County Emergency Management and US Army Corps of Engineers.
