Barren County High School welcomed two great additions to their staff Tuesday by announcing Letitia Hughes as a new Assistant Principal, and Kevin Jackson as new head Softball Coach and Student Advisor.  Letitia Hughes says she has lots of people to thank for this wonderful opportunity:

She taught Freshman English for 9 years, and for the past 5 years has been a Curriculum Specialist as well as  an  A.P. English Instructor . Teaching will be a part of her new position in a couple of ways:

Hughes will join Principal Steve Riley as well as assistant principals Amy Allen and Warren Cunningham in the administration at BCHS:

 

Kevin Jackson comes to Barren County From Edmonson County where he has been for the past 23 years. He has been head softball coach for the Lady Wildcats for the past 12 years.  Prior to that, he coached girls basketball.  Jackson said he is quite comfortable with the decision to make the move to Barren County:
