He is survived by two daughters, Zelda Foster (John Read) of Scottsville, KY and Janet Logsdon Burton of Mammoth Cave, KY; four sons, Gary Logsdon (Amanda) of Brownsviolle, KY, Sam Logsdon (Sherry) of Bowling Green, KY and Bruce Logsdon (Cathy) and Bobby Logsdon both of Brownsville, KY ; a son-in-law, Dwight Wilson of Mammoth Cave, KY and a sister, Mary Overfelt of Hardyville, KY ; twenty two grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bertie B.Logsdon, his beloved daughter, Patricia Wilson and grandsons, Bruce Wayne Logsdon and Joey Ray Logsdon. Masonic service will be 7:00pm, Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel. Burial will be in the Union Light Church Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Patton officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Southern Kentucky.

Chasteen “Doc”, “C.H.” Logsdon , 88, of Mammoth Cave, KY, passed away the morning of Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at his residence. He was born August 27, 1923 in Hart County to the late Walter D. Logsdon and the late Talitha Jane Doyle Logsdon and was the husband of the late Bertie Brooks Logsdon. He was a farmer, 32nd degree Mason of Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM , WWII Army Veteran and a member and deacon of Union Light Missionary Baptist Church.
