Mamie Marie Ross, age 95, of Hardyville, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. She was a retired cook with the Hart County School System, homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was the daughter of the late Ervin Garnett Boyd and the late Louisa Houk Boyd and the wife of the late John Thurman Ross.

She is survived by three sons: William "Bill" Cleaver Ross of Louisville, KY, Daivd Boyd Ross (Phyllis) of Hardyville, KY, Johnnie Franklin Ross (Charlyn) of Shepherdsville, KY; one sister: Louise Sidebottom of Louisville, KY; one sister-in-law: Christola Boyd of Munfordville, KY; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, July 28, 2012 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Hughes officiating. Interment will be at Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY
