Edward Lee Clark, 79, of Center, KY died Tuesday July 31, 2012 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was the son of the late Ralph and Allyne Pierce Clark. Mr. Clark was a member of the Center United Methodist Church, retired bookkeeper for Bale Tobacco Warehouse, farmer, and avid outdoorsmen.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley Trent Clark of Center; one son Rick (Billie Mae) Clark of Indiana; two daughters Karen (William Eugene) Nunn of Glasgow, and Laurie (Lynn) Finn of Center. Seven grandchildren survive: J.W. Martin, J.P. Martin, Elizabeth Sypole, Meagan Peek, William Stuart Nunn, Seth Nunn, and Daniel Finn. Two great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at the Center United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton and Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of services at the church. Mr. Clark chose to be cremated and interment at the Asbury/Center cemetery will take place at a later date.
