Clifton Bratcher, 86 of Bowling Green died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012 at his residence. The Warren County native was a World War II Army veteran and a retired pipe fitter of 61 years and a lifetime member of pipe fitters Local 502. He was a son of the late Warren C. Bratcher and Pearl Simmons Bratcher Lyons and was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years Pauline Gross Bratcher, three sons, one grandson, Rodney Bratcher; five brothers and four sisters. Survivors include: three daughters: Julia Diane Richmond (Jimmy), Linda Sue Fowler (James), Tracy Lynn Cowles (Mark); two sons: Barry Rodney Bratcher (Virginia) and Bruce Allen Bratcher (Diana); 16 grandchildren: Carlos, Bob and Daniel Richmond, Wendy and Brad McPeak, Chelsie Cowles Murphy (Josh), John Wayne Bratcher, Pauline Bratcher Buffett (Gary), Bryan and Ashley Christine Bratcher, Sherry Fowler, Cindy O'Saile (Brian), Timmy Basham (Teresa), Beth and Sam Basham; 14 greatgrandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 5:00 p.m. Monday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with visitation 11:00a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
