At 12:45 on Sunday morning, 30-year-old Steven Ogle of Glasgow was traveling south on 31E, when the vehicle crossed the yellow line several times and Sgt. Steele stopped him. Officer Ford assisted in the stop.

Sergeant Steele then conducted tests on Ogle. Ogle attempted the walk-and-turn, but stated that he was “Blew Up” in Iraq. He was not standing heel-to-toe in starting position. During the walk he stepped off line on step ¾ and turned improperly, then stepped off line again. He also did not touch heel-to-toe on several steps. During the one leg stand he said he could stand on his other leg and he attempted the test. Sergeant Steele gave him instructions several times how to complete the test.

Ogle was Arrested on counts of Reckless Driving, and Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
